Meet the CYRUS ZC 6.0, a fast, precise and stable OFF+ handmade table tennis blade in the Palatinus ZC series — for advanced players who build their game around spin variation, placement and tactical speed.

Construction & technology

The CYRUS ZC 6.0 is a 7-ply blade: five wood plies and two soft PBO-Carbon layers. Unlike the top-boosted models, here the composite is inner-boosted — placed deeper, around the core, beneath a thicker layer of wood. This position lets the ball sink into the wood before it meets the carbon, which lengthens dwell time, preserves a more natural wood feel and unlocks strong spin potential. The hard Koto outer ply then sharpens the response, adding crispness and precision on contact. The 6.0 mm thickness gives the blade a solid, well-defined structure and the stability to stay controlled through fast rallies and counters.

Playing character

This combination — a crisp Koto surface over a deeper, spin-friendly core — gives the CYRUS ZC 6.0 a distinctive dual character: direct enough to drive and counter with confidence, yet connected enough to load heavy spin and place the ball with intent. It suits players who attack with variation rather than pure pace, building points through spin, placement and controlled acceleration.

A rare construction: Koto outer with inner-boosted carbon

Most Koto outer-carbon blades are built outer-boosted for maximum directness. The CYRUS ZC 6.0 deliberately pairs that crisp Koto surface with an inner-boosted PBO-Carbon core — a combination rarely offered at this level. The result is the accuracy of Koto with the deeper dwell time and connected feel of an inner construction, giving spin-oriented attackers a profile that is genuinely hard to find elsewhere.

Named for its strategic character, the CYRUS ZC 6.0 offers a balanced offensive approach where speed, control and precision work together at the core of the playing experience.
