This Privacy Policy explains what personal data we collect, store, use and protect when you interact with our website or make a purchase through our webshop.

  • Payment information (handled securely by our payment providers — see Section 7)
  • IP address and browser information (for security and, subject to your consent, analytics)

4. Purpose of processing

  • To process and fulfil orders
  • To communicate with you regarding your order or inquiries

  • To send order confirmations and shipping details

6. Retention periods

  • Invoicing and accounting data: 8 years, as required by the Hungarian Accounting Act (Act C of 2000, § 169).
  • Order and contract data: generally up to 5 years from performance, in line with the civil-law limitation period, unless a longer legal obligation applies.
  • Newsletter data: until you withdraw your consent.
  • Cookie data: for the periods stated in our cookie information / banner.

7. Recipients and processors

We share data only with trusted service providers to the extent necessary to operate our webshop. These act as data processors under data-processing agreements and may not use your data for their own purposes:

  • Payment: PayPal, Stripe and Bank transfer (payment data is processed by the provider you choose).
  • Shipping: DHL, FedEx (name, delivery address, phone for delivery).
  • Webshop hosting/platform: Odoo S.A.
  • Web analytics: where enabled and only with your consent (e.g. Google Analytics) — details in our cookie information.

8. International data transfers

Our webshop operates from Hungary, but we ship worldwide and some of our processors (e.g. payment or analytics providers) may process data outside the EU. Where this happens, we ensure appropriate safeguards in accordance with the GDPR, such as EU Standard Contractual Clauses or an adequacy decision.

9. Cookies and consent

Our website uses cookies. Strictly necessary cookies (needed for the site and cart to function) are used without consent. Analytics and marketing cookies are used only after you give prior consent via our cookie banner. You can accept, refuse or change your choices at any time through the cookie settings, and withdrawing consent is as easy as giving it. Managing cookies solely through your browser is not a substitute for this consent.

Shipping information

We ship exclusively to EU member states and to countries outside the EU. Unfortunately, we do not offer shipping within Hungary. All orders are shipped via the express services of DHL or FedEx, depending on destination.

Typical delivery times after dispatch:

  • 1–2 business days within the EU
  • 2–3 business days outside the EU, plus any additional time for customs processing

Once your package has been handed to the courier, you automatically receive an email with your tracking number and a link to monitor the shipment. For non-EU customers, customs duties, taxes and import charges are the responsibility of the buyer.

Production time

Each blade is handcrafted and made to order. Production typically takes 5–7 business days from order confirmation; this is in addition to shipping time.

Returns, cancellation and right of withdrawal

Your options depend on the type of product — please see Section 6 of our Terms and Conditions for the full details:

  • Standard catalogue models: as a consumer in the EU you have a 14-day right of withdrawal. You can start it via our online withdrawal function ("Withdrawal from the contract"), by email, or using the model withdrawal form. You bear the direct cost of return; we refund your payment (including standard delivery) within 14 days of being informed.
  • Custom-made blades: because these are manufactured to your individual specification, the right of withdrawal does not apply (Government Decree 45/2014, § 29(1)(c)). Your statutory warranty rights are unaffected.
  • Order changes: modifications and cancellations by agreement are accepted within 24 hours of order confirmation, after which production begins.

Damage during shipping

All blades are thoroughly inspected before shipping. If your order arrives damaged, please note any visible damage with the courier on delivery where possible and contact us without delay. We will work with you to resolve the issue and may offer a replacement depending on the situation. This does not affect your statutory warranty rights.
