Frequently Asked Questions
Common questions from our customers
Please note that we are not resellers, we are the actual makers of the blades you order.
Each blade is handcrafted in our workshop one by one, based on the specifications you select.
All blades are made from multiple layers of carefully laminated veneer, which are allowed to dry for several weeks after gluing to ensure optimal stability.
These laminated blade blanks are stored in a semi-finished state, ready for final processing.
Once your payment is received, we allow 24 hours during which you may request modifications or cancel your order.
After this period, we begin crafting your blade based on your chosen configuration.
Production typically takes 5–7 business days, unless your order includes a very special request.
As soon as the courier service (DHL or FedEx) picks up your package, the shipping company will send you an email with the tracking number and a link to follow your shipment.
No additional surface treatment is required.
Each blade is delivered with a carefully prepared playing surface that has been professionally sealed using a fine handmade finishing process.
This ensures optimal protection against water-based glue, while providing ideal adhesion, ready for gluing your rubbers without any extra preparation.
However, if you have specific preferences regarding sealing (e.g. using your own method), feel free to contact us before applying the rubber sheets.
Our blades are professionally sealed to provide optimal protection and compatibility with modern water-based glues, which are the standard today.
If you're using traditional VOC glue, you may notice reduced adhesion on the sealed surface.
To improve bonding, we recommend lightly sanding the blade surface with very fine sandpaper (e.g. 800–1000 grit) before applying the glue.
After sanding make sure to carefully remove all dust particles from the surface, this step is essential to achieve proper adhesion.
Please be careful not to sand too much, as this could damage the sealed layer or affect the blade's performance.
If your racket has absorbed moisture and feels heavier than usual, we do not recommend drying it on or near a radiator, heater, or any direct heat source.
Rapid or uneven drying may cause the wooden blade to warp, crack, or delaminate — permanently affecting the racket’s performance and feel.
Instead, let the racket air dry slowly at room temperature, in a well-ventilated area, away from heat and sunlight.
You can place it upright or slightly tilted to allow airflow, and check the weight again after a few days.
Proper drying takes time, but it's the safest way to protect both the blade and the rubbers from long-term damage.
The small piece of veneer is made from the exact same outer ply used for your blade's
surface.
Its main purpose is to serve as a repair material, in case the edge of your blade gets accidentally damaged — for example, if it hits the table during play.
If you have some experience with fine repair work, you can use this piece to carefully restore any minor edge damage and maintain the blade’s original character.
We do not include printed invoices in the package in order to reduce paper waste and keep the packaging clean and minimal.
Your invoice is automatically sent by our invoicing system to the email address you provided during checkout.
If you can’t find it in your inbox, please check your spam or junk folder as well, sometimes automated emails may end up there.
If needed, feel free to contact us and we’ll gladly resend your invoice.
